The Labourer/Steamer Operator is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Onion Lake Cree Nation (OLCN) Public Works Liquid Waste Division. This position provides support in the servicing, repair, and replacement of sewage septic systems and lines throughout OLCN. The incumbent also operates the steam truck unit as required and assists the Liquid Waste Supervisor and HEO.
The OLCN Public Works Department is seeking applications to fulfill a full-time sewer truck driver position. This individual is responsible for sewage collection services to ensure that resident's sewage is transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner. The driver must work outside in extreme cold and heat. The driver is also constantly exposed to unpleasant sights and smells.
The Onion Lake Public Works department is currently seeking applicants to fulfill the position of the receptionist/dispatcher. This individual is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures. This includes managing the operations of the front desk and providing support in a fast-paced, high-call-volume office environment. Reports to Director of Public Works.
