Position: Sewer Truck Driver (2)	Department: Public Works
Job Classification: Full-Time (Safety Sensitive)	Reports to: Director of Public Works

Job Summary: The OLCN Public Works Department is seeking applications to fulfill a full-time sewer truck

driver position. This individual is responsible for sewage collection services to ensure that

resident's sewage is transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner. The driver must work

outside in extreme cold and heat. The driver is also constantly exposed to unpleasant sights and

smells.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Clean trucks as scheduled and/or required
Advise the Public Works Director of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
Maintain daily records of collection services
Pump out septic tanks of residential buildings, businesses, and other facilities
Dispose of sewage according to set policies and procedures
Keep equipment clean as per established standards
Perform other related duties

Qualifications:

Knowledge of truck and safety equipment
Knowledge of sewage collection and disposal
Knowledge of sewage pump out procedures
Valid Class IA driver's license
May be required to work on a rotation or on-call
