Provide correspondence for Tenants (agreements, notices, housing transfers, etc.)
Responsible for providing information concerning public housing to all residents in the Community
Take housing applications and housing transfer requests
Must ensure Tenants comply with the terms and conditions of their agreement, rights and responsibilities
Provide Tenants with Housing program orientation
Liaise with other programs regarding tenant issues and concerns when required (ex: housing transfers)
Providing support to Onion Lake Housing staff and administrative support such as filing, organization of materials, answering phones, etc.
Administer and collect rent to ensure that tenants are paying appropriate rental costs
Maintain administrative procedures to ensure an effective and efficient office environment
Project professional image through in-person or phone transactions
Other duties as directed
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 diploma. Post-Secondary Business Administration Certificate/Diploma would be an asset
Basic understanding of public housing programs
Knowledge of procedures involved with all aspects of Tenant Relations
Excellent communication skills, effective listening, and verbal skills
Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient time management skills
Ability to speak Cree is an asset
Valid Drivers License
