Shuttle Driver/Cook/Janitorial

Job Summary: The Shuttle Driver is tasked with daily transportation for students participating in active 
programs. Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of the shuttle and ensuring all company vehicle 
documentation is up to date. Additionally, the driver will prepare and cook meals for students and instructors 
during programs, which involve weekly grocery shopping and menu planning. Daily janitorial duties will cover 
maintaining cleanliness in the building, including vacuuming, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning 
the kitchen, classrooms, and offices.

Responsibilities: 
• Maintain a circle check and daily log of all passenger pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Maintain daily schedule routes for effective transportation services.
• Provide necessary information to passengers who utilize the shuttle services for transportation, rules for 
the shuttle van, and safety precautions.
• Grocery Shopping.
• Develop and follow weekly menus, meal planning and preparation.
• Practice Safe food Handling techniques with food preparation, storage, and sanitizing, including dishes, 
carts, ovens, fridges, cupboards, etc. sanitized regularly. Wash fruits and vegetables and prepare them 
for clients.
• Plans for and purchasing all food necessary to follow weekly menus and track expiry dates, etc.
• Follow the budget and submit receipts to finance.
• Cleaning and maintaining floors.
• Disinfecting surfaces.
• Emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Restocking janitorial supplies, bathroom supplies.
• Performing minor maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Respectful toward clients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Maintain all vehicles.
• Responsible and punctual.
• Ability to speak Cree is an asset.
