Job Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for identifying staffing needs, developing and executing recruitment plans, coordinating job postings, interviews, candidate selection, and onboarding activities. This role evaluates recruitment best practices, develops and updates job descriptions, and ensures OLCN hires qualified candidates. The Recruiter also provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Director in the daily operations of the Human Resources Department and performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Manage applicant tracking systems and prepare recruitment reports.
Post job opportunities on applicable platforms and source candidates through LinkedIn, social media, networking, cold calling, and job fairs.
Coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, process new hires, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Manage onboarding and collect all required new hire documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records, files, and backup copies in both electronic and hard-copy formats.
Organize and maintain HR records and respond to inquiries regarding files and records.
Distribute HR policies, procedures, memorandums, and other communications.
Draft forms, letters, reports, and memos as required.
Schedule interviews, meetings, and appointments, including preparation of supporting materials.
Collect information from OLCN employers and support organization-wide compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Related post-secondary certification, diploma, or degree and a minimum of six (6) years of related administrative, recruitment, or program experience.
Strong knowledge of office practices and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Proven organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
