Note: Board members shall receive training and instruction for their duties and responsibilities.

The Native Justice Board shall:
Identify and provide law development in accordance with government regulations.
Support and assist with independent concerns involving Onion Lake Cree Nation (OLCN) communities.
Review inmate requests for returning to the OLCN community and determine if the return is in the best interests of the member and community.
Examine appeals on banishments regarding members and non-members residing in the OLCN community.
Assist with the Drug & Gang Strategy.
Analyze and develop court processes for the OLCN community.
Support the Native Justice department through annual forums, feasts, and community events where board support is encouraged.
Must be a member of the Onion Lake Cree Nation.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be in good standing with the community.
Must have good communication skills.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Must reside in Onion Lake.
