Employment Information

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, schedule, and supervise staff on daily tasks and projects.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Monitor performance and ensure work quality meets property standards.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and promote safe work habits among staff.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
  • Request procurement of materials and ensure proper storage and usage.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it remains in safe working condition.
  • Communicate professionally with residents regarding maintenance issues and timelines.
  • Provide updates to Maintenance Supervisor on project status, recurring issues, and staffing needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or related field, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, carpentry, general repair)
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and train staff.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
