Employment Information

Must have knowledge:  

 

  • And to demonstrate land-based pedagogy or outdoor education program coordination. 

  • Proven experience in curriculum writing and educational program development. 

  • Strong understanding of a specific local culture and its protocols. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong, respectful relationships within the community, especially with Elders and youth. 

Preferably: 

 

  • Fluency or advanced proficiency in the nēhiyaw language is highly valued and considered a significant asset. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Environmental Science, or a related field. 

  • Experience working with relevant governing bodies or educational institutions in Saskatchewan.
