Employment Information

Qualification - Education: Preferably 

Grade 12 diploma, Knowledge and/or experience with Adobe products (InDesign and Illustrator), knowledge of nēhiyawēwin, and a willingness to learn new skills are assets.

• Reliable, self-motivated.

• May require travel within the community and to schools or cultural sites.

• Access to Elders and Knowledge Keepers for consultation and guidance.


Responsibilities
1. GOL Illustrator:
a). Create and develop original pieces of artwork for resources,
b). Using computer-aided design, Photoshop, Adobe Indesign etc.
c). Developing files and labels for the artwork developed; inventory the resources,
d). Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


2. Resource developer:
a). Immersion Resource Developer.
b). Teacher support – Developing teacher material-illustrations/ photography/video, filing and inventory.
c). Current illustrations, editing and revision, identify original or copied material.
d). Other duties, as assigned.
