Program Coordinator
The Group Home Coordinator leads care for children and youth in a group-home setting, collaborates with management and colleagues to develop and maintain policies and initiatives, and oversees staff scheduling and daily office operations.
Care Worker
The Care Worker supports the development of children and youth by providing supervision, counselling, and personal care. The role follows provincial legislation and Onion Lake Health Board Inc. policies and procedures. Hours: 24–32 per week.
Addictions Support Worker
Reporting to the Manager, the Addiction Support Worker supports clients and staff at Onion Lake Detox Centre. The role promotes recovery through recreational activities and transportation to off-site meetings and events, working with the clinical team, colleagues, administration, and partner agencies to encourage client engagement throughout recovery.
Ekweskeet RN/LPN
Provide nursing care to Detox Centre clients across acute care, addictions, mental health, wellness, and education. Assess, monitor, and document symptoms and progress; administer medications/injections; assist with procedures; educate patients and families; and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, continuous, quality care.
Onion Lake Energy Recepionist
The Receptionist/File Clerk provides reception, clerical, and administrative support to the Onion Lake Energy office. The role serves as the first point of contact, maintains accurate filing systems, supports daily operations, and handles sensitive information with professionalism, organization, and confidentiality.
Human Resources Business Partner
The Human Resources Business Partner provides strategic HR leadership and support across OLGCC, advising managers and leadership on workforce planning, employee development, performance, and compliance. The role leads HR modernization, training, Indigenous employment strategies, and workforce solutions supporting Onion Lake Cree Nation’s long-term goals.
Radio & Broadcasting Supervisor
The Radio & Broadcasting Supervisor oversees Kitaskinaw Radio (102.5 FM), managing staff, programming, and technical operations. The role ensures reliable, professional, and culturally grounded broadcasting while promoting Cree language and culture and sharing OLCN programs, services, and community events.
Pre-Treatment Support Worker
The Support Worker assists individuals, families, and communities experiencing personal crises, while supporting prevention and education. They provide resources for family violence, police interventions, and substance-related concerns, maintain accurate case records, and build strong relationships with community professionals.
Emergency Shelter Support Worker
Under the Coordinator’s direction, the Support Worker assists individuals, families, and communities during crises and supports prevention and education. They provide resources for issues including family violence, police intervention, and substance use, while maintaining accurate case notes and strong community partnerships.
Emergency Shelter Coordinator
The Coordinator manages and supervises the overall operations of the Emergency Shelter, including staff and clients. Responsibilities include health and safety, facility upkeep, staff training, operational reports, enforcing shelter rules, and ensuring clients attend required programming.
Family Treatment Support Worker
The Support Worker assists individuals, families, and the community during crisis situations, including family violence, police interventions, and substance-related issues.
